The London-Based Photographer Works with a Playful Morbidity

Aleksandra Kingo is a London-based photographer from Lithuania who describes her work as “feminine, a bit awkward, and full of irony”. Using bright colors and dramatic lighting, her photographs blend classic marks of femininity with a playful darkness. Kingo’s work has caught the eye of magazines and brands around the world, and she was recently commissioned to direct and produce a music video for French pop star YELLE.
