René Staud is the grand seigneur of automotive photography. His big breakthrough came in 1985 with the development of Magicflash®, a lighting system specially tailored to the needs of studio photography. It is still state of the art today and part of the secret behind the characteristic Staud style. This innovative surface lighting technology was his entry into automotive photography. Over the years, he has had the models of all major brands in front of his lens. Jürgen Lewandowski is a Munich-based automotive journalist and author with decades of experience.
