Rock the Shack

Rock the Shack takes us to the places we long for. For the first time in the history of humankind, more people live in cities than in the country. Yet, at the same time, more and more city dwellers are yearning for rural farms, mountain cabins, or seaside homes. These kinds of refuges offer modern men and women a promise of what urban centers usually cannot provide: quiet, relaxation, being out of reach, getting back to basics, feeling human again.

Rock the Shack is a survey of such contemporary refuges from around the world—from basic to luxury. The book features a compelling range of sparingly to intricately furnished cabins, cottages, second homes, tree houses, transformations, shelters, and cocoons. The look of the included structures from the outside is just as important as the view from inside. What these diverse projects have in common is an exceptional spirit that melds the uniqueness of a geographic location with the individual character of the building’s owner and architect.

Shipping Costs

• Free shipping to Germany and the USA.

• Free worldwide shipping from 60 EUR/USD order value.

• For orders below 60 EUR/USD the following shipping costs apply:

  • Germany & USA : € 0,-
  • European Union: € 10,-
  • ROW (All other): € 40,-

Shipping costs will be assessed during checkout based on the full value of goods purchased.

The shipping cost doesn’t account for any import taxes/customs fees. These fees are not under our control and apply according to the regulations of your selected country of delivery. Please refer to your local customs authorities for more information.

 

Payment 

For shipments to addresses within the US, payments can be made using credit card, or PayPal.

Shipping

Once your order is processed and an order confirmation is sent, you will be able to track your shipment using the link in the order confirmation. You will also be able to track your order in your customer account.

Orders are usually received within 2-3 working days for orders placed within Germany, 2-6 working days for those placed within the EU, Switzerland, and Norway. Orders placed within the US will be delivered within 3-7 working days after receiving your order confirmation. Deliveries to all other territories will take 10-14 working days.

Please note that we don’t ship on weekends and public holidays. Deliveries are not made on Sundays and other public holidays. We will try to inform you of any unexpected delays.

Returns
Full refunds are available up until 14 days after the order confirmation is sent. You bear the direct costs for returning the products. More information on our return policy is available here.
