Baroness Spookiness (Halloween Children’s Book)

Once upon a time, the name Baroness Spookiness sent shivers down everyone’s spine. She was the mistress of mayhem, the queen of all things creepy. But those days are long gone. Now the Baroness is, well, not scary at all. Everything seems perfectly unspooky until one restless night, when she discovers that her beloved ghost cat is seriously ill. The diagnosis? A dreadful psychological case of not-enough-spook. To save her feline friend, the Baroness must rediscover her frightful flair. But how does a former ghoul learn to spook again?

The book is printed on fluorescent foil and glows in the dark—because every spooky story deserves to come alive after lights out.

Tini Malina writes and illustrates children’s books for readers of all ages who share a love for everything mischievous and a little bit spooky. Her illustrations are minimalist and playful, blending humor, naiveté, and just a hint of creepiness.
