New York Unseen offers a unique, authentic view of the Big Apple, away from the typical tourist spots. Unlike other New York coffee table books, this collection focuses on the city's true character—its people, streets, and architecture—without relying on iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty or Central Park.

Luc Kordas lives and works mainly between New York and Europe. His work celebrates timeless, everyday moments. He is versatile in both colour and black and white. For his documentary and street photography, he often chooses the latter as he finds black and white a more powerful medium of expression. An avid traveller who is constantly on the move, he likes to mix his favourite genres of photography and moves freely between documentary, portrait, travel and street photography.
