Zissiadis has developed a remarkable sense of space and aesthetics through his architectural studies in Philadelphia. In his book Morocco, he succeeds in sensitively depicting the country's contrasts - from the tranquility of the desert to the vibrant atmosphere of the cities. His respectful approach to people and cultures lends this illustrated book a special authenticity.

Fokion Zissiadis was born in 1956 in Greece and first encountered photography during his architecture studies in Philadelphia. He returned from the United States to continue the family tradition in tourism, becoming one of the main shareholders of the renowned Sani Resort in Chalkidiki and serving as Vice President of Sani S.A. until 2015. Since 2016, he has fully dedicated himself to his passion for landscape photography and adventure traveling, planning and organizing solo photo expeditions to remote destinations of great natural beauty. His photographic work encompasses a wide range of geological phenomena and diverse terrains. His photo projects have taken him through numerous countries around the world.
