The Design Team Transformed the Dilapidated House Using Reclaimed Materials
In architecture, there are few issues more pressing than the drive for sustainable practices. As resources grow thin and material prices grow expensive, architects and manufacturers around the world are breathing new life into old and repurposed fixtures. Such is the case with this cabin by Lundberg Design, which is the fruit of almost two decades of labor. The team renovated an existing dilapidated cabin to erect a single-pitch home made almost entirely from reclaimed material from previous commissions. To round off the project, the team used an animal trough with a solar-powered aeration system to build an infinity pool extending off the upper balcony.
