Haus P by Yonder

The Holiday Home in South Germany Is Divided into Two Distinct Sections

Haus P by Yonder

architecture & interior

At almost 250-square meters, Haus P by Yonder is a mammoth-sized holiday home for a family of seven from Hamburg. The house borrows elements from the local architectural vernacular of Allgäu in Swabia, Germany, including a shallow gabled roof and a timber facade. To capitalize on the relatively large plot of land, Haus P is divided into two distinct volumes: one acts as a storage shed; the other is the primary living space. While the latter is a standard rectangular module, the family home extends at a wide angle from the lower floor, giving Haus P a striking silhouette and creating a generous interior space with high ceilings and plenty of room to breath.
